Every workplace has a person (or persons) who helps keep things on track and makes sure all the i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed. For Certified Diesel Solutions, that person is Michelle Mullins. Michelle is the administrative assistant for our automotive and diesel repair shop in Knoxville, TN. She’s been in administration and HR roles her entire career, and she is excited to work with the mechanics and technicians of our shop.
Originally from Ohio, Michelle now lives in Maryville with her fiancé, Rick Howard. She’s been in East Tennessee for a little over a year and has enjoyed her time here thus far. Michelle is very family-oriented and has two children, Josh who lives in Ohio and Jada who is in Lexington, KY. She’s also the grandmother to a precious little girl. Though she’s now surrounded by orange, Michelle is a fan of University of Kentucky basketball and, maybe you guessed it, Ohio State University football. She’s a huge animal lover and has Dexter, a 6-year-old Chihuahua Maltese mix. In her free time, Michelle enjoys traveling. She loves to head to Florida or to play golf in Savannah, GA. Last summer, she visited Daufuskie Island with Rick for the first time and loved it! She hopes to go back soon. Michelle is quite the crafter as well. She enjoys making home décor such as wreaths.
When it comes to her everyday activities in office, Michelle is responsible for keeping up with accounts (receivable and payable), opening and closing work orders, ordering supplies, and keeping the guys in the back on task! (ha!) She’s had a blast getting to know everyone and is excited to see what the future has in store for Certified Diesel Solutions.
